Software Copywriter
I research your customers, sharpen your positioning, and write websites, blogs, and content assets that make the right buyers stop scrolling and start converting.

The problem
Here's what happens when a generalist writer takes on a software brand: you get clean sentences, decent structure, and copy that could belong to any company in your category.
Nobody buys software because the homepage was well-written. They buy because something on that page made them feel like you understood their problem better than anyone else. That's a very different brief.

The fix
B2B software buyers are skeptical, do their research, and need to justify the purchase to someone above them. That means your copy has to work on multiple levels at once: it needs to speak to the person using the product and the person signing off on it, build credibility before anyone fills out a form, and make a compelling case without sounding like a pitch.
I've been writing software copy specifically for years. That experience shows up in every line.
The details
01
I go straight to the source. I write the survey questions, conduct the interviews, and dig into your customers' actual language, motivations, and hesitations. The insights I uncover shape everything (positioning, messaging, structure, and tone), so your copy feels like it was written specifically for your buyer, because it was.

02
Before I write anything, we get clear on who's buying, who's using, and what each of them needs to hear. Feature-first copy confuses people. Outcome-first copy converts them. I build the messaging hierarchy that makes your value impossible to miss.

03
Software copy has a reputation for being stiff, jargon-heavy, and interchangeable. I write with personality, specificity, and a point of view, because copy that connects emotionally is what turns a curious visitor into a booked demo.

04
I don't hand off a wall of text and wish your designer luck. Every deliverable includes the psychological purpose of each section, layout concepts, and graphic requirements. Your designer gets a clear creative brief. You get a final product that looks as intentional as it reads.

everything Included
I write across every channel that matters for software brands: website pages, SEO blogs, LinkedIn content for founders, and supporting assets like guides and calculators. One writer, consistent voice.
I sweat the small stuff, like word choice, sentence rhythm, and the transitions between sections. These details either earn the scroll or lose it. Great copy lives in the details readers feel but never notice.
The most persuasive copy isn't clever, it's accurate. When your buyer reads a line and thinks "that's exactly my problem," that's research driving the writing. It’s never a lucky guess.
I write with both search engines and LLMs in mind from the very first draft. The goal is for your brand to show up whether your buyer is scrolling Google or getting an answer from an AI.
Once your design team builds out the page, I come back for one last look to make sure the layout is interpreting the copy correctly and nothing important got lost in translation.
I've spent years writing software copy because the psychology of B2B buying genuinely fascinates me. That curiosity drives the research, the craft, and the quality of every single deliverable.
The vast majority of copywriters I worked with along the years, were able write nice words but usually missed the point and weren’t able to capture the essence. Dayana is an exception. She’s much more than a copywriter. SHE GETS IT. She is good at researching and understanding what we want to say, she has a good eye for design and she produces content that really makes an impact. I guess that’s one of the biggest compliments a marketing writer could get.

She helped us jump start our effort on case studies and highlighting our work for our customers. She “gets” things very quickly, reads in between lines. I have high regards for her intuition and inquisitiveness. She is highly professional and presented herself very well in front of our customers (whom she had to interview). To top all of this, her writing skills are top notch (simple, to the point, clear to read) and her working vision with the graphic designer was excellent.

"Streamline your workflow." "The all-in-one platform." "Built for teams like yours."🤮 If your copy sounds like your competitors', your buyers have no reason to choose you.
Features describe the product. Outcomes sell it. If your copy leads with what it does instead of what the buyer gets, you're doing the hard work of driving traffic to a page that quietly talks people out of converting.
Mediocre copy comes from writers who phone it in. Great copy comes from someone who cares about your category, your customers, and getting it right — not just getting it done.

Primarily B2B SaaS, from early-stage startups finding their positioning to growth-stage companies scaling their content engine. I've worked across a wide range of niches, including field sales software, developer tools, HR tech, travel, property management, and more. If your buyers are businesses and your product lives in a browser, we're probably a fit.
Across multiple. I write website copy and landing pages, SEO blog posts, LinkedIn content for founders and executives, and supporting content assets like guides, templates, and calculators. Most of my long-term clients work with me across more than one of those, because keeping one writer across channels means the voice and strategy stay consistent.
Involved enough to get great results, not so involved that it defeats the purpose of hiring someone. I'll need a strategy call at the start, access to customers for research, and a review round on drafts. After that, the process runs itself. I don't chase clients for content or wait for direction. I bring the strategy and create the briefs.
As a tech copywriter, I start by listening to you, to your customers, and to what your competitors are saying (or not saying). From there, I build a clear picture of what your brand sounds like, what it never says, and where it has room to be bolder. That voice guide becomes the foundation for everything I write.

Let's get started
I work with a small number of SaaS companies at a time, so I can go deep on the research, strategy, and craft copy that actually performs. If you're ready to stop blending in, let's talk.
